Ontario Drug Benefits: Fully uploaded by the Province in 2008, this program covers most of the costs of approved drugs and related products of eligible people. This includes recipients of Ontario Works Benefits and the Ontario Disability Support Program.
Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP): Provides financial assistance and employment support to enable people with disabilities to live as independently as possible. ODSP Administration costs were fully uploaded by the Province in 2009. Half of the ODSP Benefits are being uploaded in 2010 and the remainder will be uploaded in 2011.
Ontario Works Benefits: Combines financial and employment assistance to help people in financial need move to paid employment and independence. The Province is phasing in a full upload of Ontario Works Benefits between 2010 and 2018.
Court Security: This initiative includes the development of court security standards in consultation with policing partners, the judiciary, and other stakeholders, in support of the government’s commitment to safe and secure communities. The Province will begin uploading court security costs (including those for offender transportation) in 2012. They will be uploaded to a maximum of $125 million by 2018.
