The Ontario government is developing a new, long-term housing strategy to make it easier for Ontario families to find and maintain affordable housing.

The Long-Term Affordable Housing Strategy will provide a framework for affordable housing in Ontario over the next 10 years.

From June to September 2009, consultation sessions were held across the province. This consultation was about how to make the housing system work better.

Public opinion was sought and received, and we thank you for participating in this important discussion.

The final Long-Term Affordable Housing Strategy is anticipated for release in 2010.
