The symposium took place on Thursday, April 30, 2009 at the Paramount Conference and Event Venue, 222 Rowntree Dairy Road (map), in Vaughan.

More About James Milway

James is the Executive Director of the Martin Prosperity Institute, and the Institute for Competitiveness and Prosperity. Jim brings more than thirty years of business and public policy experience to the Institute. For most of his career he has been a consultant to senior decision makers in areas of business strategy as a partner in The Canada Consulting Group, The Boston Consulting Group, and in his own firm.

He has advised the Government of Ontario on tax policy, post-secondary education, and innovation strategies. Federally, he has assessed public policy in the areas of innovation strategy, small and medium enterprises, and tourism policy.

Jim was involved in the recent publication of “Ontario in the Creative Age”, a report commissioned by the premier, which looks at the changing composition of Ontario's economy and workforce, and projects future trends affecting Ontario.
