The Housing Policy Branch has updated the “Guide to Special Needs Housing” to cover regulatory changes.
The guide is strictly explanatory in nature. It explains the requirements of the Social Housing Reform Act, 2000 and its regulations insofar as they pertain to Special Needs Housing provided under the Act.
Action required:
Please replace any copies of the “Guide to Special Needs Housing” with the version attached to this notification. If you have distributed copies of the earlier version of the Guide to housing providers, please ensure that they replace them with the current version as well.
Electronic copies of the English and French versions should be available on the ministry’s website (www.mah.gov.on.ca) within approximately two weeks of this notification.
