Launched in July 2007, ROOF provides a housing allowance of up to $100 per month for a five-year period to eligible low-income working families in Ontario.
If you submitted an application and would like additional information, or general program information, please call 1-888-544-5101 (TTY: 1-800-263-7776), or email ROOF@ontario.ca.
If you are already a ROOF client and have received an application for benefit year 2, please send it in within 6 months of receiving the application. If we do not receive your application within this timeframe, you will no longer be eligible for the ROOF housing allowance.
