The Learning Centre (TLC) is organized by subject area, but we recognize that you may also want to search by learning material type, i.e. presentations, job aids or e-learning. If you already have knowledge of a topic area you may want to proceed directly to a knowledge review, case study or exercise. To make this easy there is a series of icons shown below - look for these icons throughout the site. They identify what type of educational resource is available on that topic area.
 E-learning - webcasts, WebEx, action mazes and e-learning modules. E-learning modules specifically are set-up to be an interactive walk through a topic area; including text, illustrations, links, scenarios, exercises and knowledge reviews. Usually in a flash format, with a text version for use by a screen reader software or for those not able to use flash. |
 Presentations - slides and speeches from previous training sessions held, usually in PDF format. Useful for ongoing review or as an overview of what those who attended the session received. |
 Knowledge Review & Exercises - tools that provide the opportunity to practise applying knowledge gained or experience using hypothetical real life examples in the form of scenarios case studies, short quizzes, or activities to test your knowledge.

 Practical Applications - examples of real life applications throughout Ontario and beyond.
 Frequently Asked Questions - collection of frequently asked questions and answers that are a reflection of what people have wanted to know about a topic.

 Job Aids - quick and easy reference to help you in your every day application of new information, legislation and initiatives; includes checklists, tips, some online calculations and short info sheets in PDF format.

 Other Educational Resources - publications, guides of an educational nature, links to other sites that have educational content in a topic area.
