To ensure that the land exchange was appropriate, the North Pickering Land Exchange Review Panel was created. Chaired by David Crombie, the Panel recommended a set of principles to guide the valuation, exchange and subsequent development of the Central Pickering lands. The panel has concluded its work and a set of guiding principles have been established.
