The purpose of this e-learning module (ELM) is to assist planners, municipal councillors and staff, land developers and interested citizens understand the new “shall be consistent with” standard of the Planning Act.
This module has been prepared for educational purposes only. Some portions of this module have been taken from the InfoSheet titled “Applying the Provincial Policy Statement”. You may want a copy of the Provincial Policy Statement, 2005 as reference.
