Schedules and Appendices to the Greenbelt Plan

The Greenbelt Plan contains four schedules and two maps in the Appendix, for reference. 

Schedule 1: Greenbelt Area - Map showing the Greenbelt Area. This includes the Protected Countryside, Urban River Valleys, Niagara Escarpment Plan Area and Oak Ridges Moraine Area.

Schedule 2: Niagara Peninsula Tender Fruit and Grape Area  - Map showing the Niagara Peninsula Tender Fruit and Grape Area Specialty Crop Area within the Greenbelt Area.

Schedule 3: Holland Marsh - Map showing the Holland Marsh Specialty Crop Area within the Greenbelt Area.

Schedule 4: Natural Heritage System - Map showing the Natural Heritage System within the Protected Countryside of the Greenbelt Area.

Boundary Regulation Mapping of the Greenbelt Area

The Greenbelt Act, 2005 provides the authority for the designation of the Greenbelt Area. The Greenbelt Area is precisely defined in Ontario Regulation 59/05, as amended, and shown on a series of maps.
