Service Delivery Accountability Table

Mandate Statement

The Service Delivery Accountability Table will provide research and analytical support to, and develop options for the Provincial-Municipal Fiscal and Service Delivery Review.

This Working Table will focus on questions of effective service delivery arrangements that meet the quality, affordability and accountability needs of clients, residents, experts and the respective orders of government. 

The Working Table will consider a broad range of service system delivery, capacity, and governance arrangements currently employed in Ontario and in other jurisdictions.  The Working Table will focus primarily on health and social services programs including social housing, child care, and long term care.

The Working Table will provide advice to the Coordinating Table on options for a service delivery and accountability framework for delivery of quality services in communities across Ontario.   The Table will focus on effective service system management and delivery. The Table’s mandate, however, does not include program design.

In addition to examining such issues at a provincial level, the Table shall consider the differing circumstances of different types of municipalities (e.g. urban/rural, location in different regions, etc).
