Housekeeping amendments to several regulations under the
Social Housing Reform Act, 2000 were made on April 11, 2003.
Two changes involve French versions of the regulations:
· The French version of Ontario Regulation 642/00 (Determination, Allocation, Apportionment and Billing of Housing Costs) has been amended to correct references to the Act.
· The French version of Ontario Regulation 368/01 (General) has been amended in respect to transfers from the Toronto Housing Company Inc. to the Toronto Community Housing Corporation.
Changes have been made to tables in Ontario Regulations 298/01, 339/01, 368/01, 369/01, and 456/01 for the reasons indicated below. These changes came into effect on April 1, 2003.
· Transfer of additional projects on April 1, 2003 to six service managers: - Durham, Hamilton, Ottawa, Waterloo, Brantford, and Simcoe.
· Corrections.
Ontario Regulation 17/02 (Social Housing Services Corporation) has been amended to exclude members of the corporation that are non-profit housing co-operatives from the objects of the corporation with respect to insurance programs for housing providers.
These amendments have been incorporated in the consolidated regulations that are available at the Ontario e-Laws website (http://www.e-laws.gov.on.ca/).
Action required:
Please ensure that copies of social housing regulations that are used for reference incorporate the amendments that were filed on April 11, 2003.
