Public Education Services
The Investigation and Enforcement Unit offers public education sessions to groups who have an interest in learning more about the operation of the Investigation and Enforcement Unit.
This service is designed to help educate landlords and tenants about their rights and responsibilities as they relate to the offences listed in sections 233 to 237 of the Residential Tenancies Act, 2006.
Sessions are offered to stakeholder groups such as legal clinics, advocacy groups for landlords or tenants and police departments in Ontario.
If you would like the Investigation and Enforcement Unit to provide a public education session to your group or organization, please send a letter or fax indicating the date and time for the event, expected number of attendees and a brief note describing your group or organization.
