Municipal meetings investigators (new sections 239.1 and 239.2)

If a municipality does not appoint a meetings investigator, Ontario Ombudsman would be the meetings investigator respecting the meetings of the municipality or its local boards.

Adoption of policies (new section 270)

Policies required may include, among others: Sale and other disposition of land, hiring of employees, procurement of goods and services.
